Aultbea has various craft & gift shops, perfume factory, tea rooms, well stocked general store, butcher, post office, doctor’s surgery, and several churches. There is also two hotels in the area. For the golfers among you there is an 18 hole course in Gairloch.

Aultbea has a small harbour at Aird Point. The moorings below the main road south of Aultbea relate to a NATO naval refuelling facility and explains the presence of warships in the loch from time to time |
